Description
Puligny-Montrachet is a white wine with a golden color and green highlights. It has aromas of flowers, pears, apples, citrus fruits, hints of honey and subtle notes of nutmeg. On the palate, it has nice volume, full body, crisp acidity and flavor balance. Ideal pairing with seafood, poultry and pasta dishes with creamy sauces.

The estate with founder Joseph Leflaive dates back to 1717 and is the most famous winery in the prominent Burgundy appellation “Puligny Montrachet”. Later, between 1990-2015, when his granddaughter Anne-Claude Leflaive took over, came the great recognition of the estate. Anne-Claude had a passion for biodynamic farming and a great concern for the sustainability of the land. Domaine Leflaive became one of the leading estates not only in Burgundy and France, but also in the Biodynamic movement, to which it still belongs today. Through its exclusive white biodynamic wines, intended for immediate consumption as well as for long aging, the complex terroir of the Burgundy Cru is expressed.
