A white dry wine with bright golden color. It has aromas of quince, pear, caramel and floral notes. On the palate we have body and mellow texture accompanied by floral notes, fruitiness and an iodized freshness. Château Montus blanc has a long delicate aftertaste. You could pair it with fish, white meat, caviar and foie gras.

Alain Brumont bought Château Montus in 1980, in a unique terroir at the beginning of the Pyrenees, with its large reddish pebbles. This wine’s special character is due to its vinification and ageing in 600 litre barrels, called demi-muids, made from wooden staves that are more than four centimetres thick. The impact of the wood on the wine is reduced, with a more mellow woodiness, beneficial to the preservation of the fruity aromas, while maintaining a perfect balance, for a very expressive, high quality wine.
