Molino Real winery was born in 1996, it was the result of the persistence of Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza, in order to recover the former glory of the Málaga’s mountain wines. The region is known for its sweet wines, however, dry wines are also produced in the area below the Sierras de Málaga DO. Mountain Blanco is made from 100% Muscat of Alexandria sourced from two steep sites two steep sites grown on slate slopes 500m to 1000m elevation. For this wine, the harvest was done by hand, the grapes were pressed in presses, while the fermentation was then done with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and aged for 9 months.
