Meerlust Merlot has aromas of red fruit, liquorice, plum, dark chocolate, spice and mineral notes. On the palate it has a medium body and an enjoyable finish. Merlot offers ripe, pure fruit with refreshing acidity and silky tannins, while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grape varieties add more complexity to the wine. Pairs extremely well with red meat and game recipes.
