Description
Daou Reserve, a red wine with a dark purple colour. It has aromas of black fruit, cherry, blackberry and raisin, as well as liquorice, cinnamon and dark chocolate notes. The palate has flavors of blueberry, blackberry, plum, hints of leather, dried herb truffle and mushroom. It has well-worked tannins, the finish is elegant, lingering and leaves the impression of sweet cherry. You can enjoy it now or keep it in your cellar for the next 20 years. We suggest decanting it an hour before serving. It pairs beautifully with a ribeye steak.

Daou Vineyards is a California winery in the Adelaida District AVA of Paso Robles. Founded in 2007 by brothers George and Daniel Daou. The original property consisted of a parcel of land that was once part of the Hoffman Mountain Ranch. In 2012 the brothers purchased the rest of the Hoffman property which increased their vineyard holdings to 86 hectares. Daou vineyards are certified by SIP (Sustainability in Practice) for sustainable agriculture. All the grapes for the estate’s wines are hand-picked.
