A red wine with a lively transparent ruby color and strong aromas of cherries and walnuts. The palate is complex with notes of dark chocolate, cherries, dried fruit and hints of plum jam with spices and elegant tannins. An excellent after dinner wine. It goes very well with mille-feuille, tarts, fruit pies, and panettone, but you could also enjoy it as a dessert wine.

The history of this beautiful Italian estate dates back as early as 1353. Today, 21 generations later, the Alighieri family continues to run and manage the estate. In 1973, Tenuta Serego Alighieri became part of the famous Masi Group and remains one of the most famous and historic estates of this group. A noble, traditional, sweet red wine from the Valpolicella region, this Recioto comes from the ancient Casal dei Ronchi vineyard on the Possessioni Serego Alighieri estate. Made from the classic blend of  Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara varieties and the Appassimento process, in which the grapes are spread out on bamboo racks in drying lofts.
