Description
A red wine with pale Burgundy color and a soft crimson hue. The aromas have instant sweet fruit like wild berries, mushrooms, notes of lavender and floral notes. When we taste it, it is evident that Pinot Noir is present. It has silky tannins, flavors of berries and notes of oak in the background. You could pair it with duck breast, sautéed mushroom risotto.

The story begins in 1993, when Terry Peabody and his wife Mary create the Craggy Range family. The wines are produced at the Gimblett Gravels and Giants wineries. Reflective of its namesake, Aroha is made with passion from two unique Pinot Noir vineyards, including one of the legendary Abel clone. The grape is grown on a hillside in the Te Muna Road vineyard. An ancient dried river bed provided soil ideal for growing Pinot Noir.
