Description
Vouvray by Philippe Foreau with floral, fruity and toasty aromas. In the mouth it has flavors of pear, quince, minerality and crisp acidity. You could pair it with chevre, scallops, comté, vegetables and steamed fish.

Philippe Foreau is the third generation of the Foreau family to produce Vouvray from this legendary Domaine that his grandfather bought in 1923. Philippe took over in 1983. Today, it consists of 11.5 hectares planted with Chenin Blanc. The main vineyards are known as ‘Les Perruches’ and ‘Les Ruettes’ with an average age of around 45 years and are cultivated using organic methods , without the use of herbicides and treated with organic fertilizers. Sparkling wines remain on lees for at least 48 months to achieve maximum richness and complexity. Removal is done once every quarter.
