Description

Last Battle 1829 is named after the last battle of the 1821 Revolution, the “Battle of Petra” which took place in1829, in the village of Petra, Viotia.

It is an aged tsipouro made from the varieties Koundura, Muktaro and Malagouzia. The grapes of each variety are distilled separately, drop by drop, in a copper firecracker, at a low temperature. In this way only the noblest aromatic compounds are obtained. The heads and tails of the distillate are discarded in order to retain only the heart, which is redistilled using the same slow and gentle process. Finally, the separate spirits are blended in different proportions. The aim is to create a tsipouro with a balanced flavour and consistent quality. Enjoy at 12-15°C.
