The winery is in San Benedetto di Lugana, in the municipality of Peschiera del Garda, about 25 km west of Verona. Its location on the Veneto side of Lake Garda affords it an extremely favorable microclimate. It comprises 70 hectares, in the best vineyard sites of Lugana and in the Valpolicella Classico, right in the midst of areas richly laden with important historical, economic, and cultural events and memories. Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico Zenato is a red dry wine. This wine is made from a selection of top grapes from Valpolicella Classica grown in Sant’Ambrogio township. The grapes are dried for four months and crushing is not carried out until January. Slow fermentation with skin con-tact follows and then the wine is aged for 36 months in large-format Slavoni-an casks. It is then aged in bottle before being released. Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico Zenato is a red dry wine by Corvina, Croatina, Oseleta, Rondinella grapes. On the nose we detect delicate aromas of cherry, dry nuts, coffee beans, raisin and plum. It is a full body red wine with velvet tannins and a long finish. You could pair it with desserts or with intense cheeses.
